We were looking for a structural engineer to provide us with an up to date assessment of some underpinning that had been done to our house 22 years ago and came across the local surveyors website.

He was professional throughout and gave us some very sound advice which has proved indispensable in selling our house. Website was quick and efficient.  We instructed Marcel Furet for our survey and he did an absolutely splendid job for us, very thorough, up and above what we expected, value for money.
Unfortunately the report showed up quite a lot of problems with the property but we still decided to try and go ahead, we offered a reduced price for the property in view of the findings, the vendor was not pleased, his actual words according to the estate agents were 'I am very insulted and I am taking the property off the market'.  I just hope that if he does try to sell it in future, that the buyers will be made aware of the extent of the problems.  We were very sad at the outcome, but thankful that we had the survey, it saved us from a lot of heartache and Marcel will be the first person we head for if ever we need another survey. hank you, we will be forever grateful to you Marcel.
